Man of Steel Awards Night 2008 04.09.08
The 30 th of August 2008 saw the second Hainault Bulldogs Man Of Steel Awards night held at OGradys Irish Bar & Generously Sponsored by Sporttrades. In attendance were Will Sharpe & Louie McCarthy Scarsbrook from Quins RL who were on hand to present the awards & talk to the players.
For the first time we had a junior section present with awards for all players to commemerate our first junior season as well as well as Player of the year awards for each team too!
On the open age side the medals were handed out for the fantastic topping of the RLC East Conference as well as the following awards for the 2008 season
Development Player of the year : Brad Tiffin
Clubman of the Year: Michael Swaine
Players Player of the year : Richard Griffiths
Player of the year: Paul Hyder
Man of Steel 2008 : Ray Luggeri
As all in attendance agreed, all awards were very much deserved & were met with thunderous applause. After the awards the Band started playing until the early hours, breaking only for the annual Bulldogs dance competition. Photos appearing soon in the Gallery

Bulldogs in the National Semi Finals on Sunday 19.08.2008
The Bulldogs take on the Bristol Sonics in the RLC National Semi finals on Sunday at Chosen Hill RFC, Gloucester. To ensure all players & supporters travel in comfort a coach will be leaving the Kennel at 9.30 on Sunday. Only £10 to jump on the coach & travel. All support greatly appreciated so please come along & cheer on the Bulldogs!!!

Awards Evening for the Entire Bulldogs, Open age & Academy sides!!! 13.08.2008
Venue: O'Gradys Irish Bar, High Road, Seven Kings
30th of August 2008
£10 per person
Family ticket £15 for two parents & two children.
Starts at 19.00 with the academy awards presentations, & the open age presentations start at 21.00. Awards to be given include, Players Player of the year, Development team player of the year and of course Man of Steel 2008 as well as medals for all academy players present on the evening
Players from Quins RL will be there as well as DJ & fun through the night!!! If we successfully make the final in Derby the coach will drop off straight at OGradys in time for the awards so that we can toast the win!!

Plans for the annual Bulldogs dinner announced for the 2nd of August 2008. Special guests John Bentley & Leeds legend & Sky Sports Presenter Barrie McDermott. Junior Bulldogs!! 02.05.08
Its finally here, the bulldogs are moving on and have decided to set up a junior section.
Like all new adventure it will take some time to all come together, But with excitement and anticipation
I am looking forward to the challenges ahead.We have already got three coaches on board and they are as excited as me and can not wait to get started
Now all we need is players. So if your between 11 and 16 and want to try your hand at rugby league
then come down to the kennel on wednesday night. Training starts from 7pm and finishes around 8.30pm. It can be muddy at the kennel so bring a change of clothes and don't forget your gum shield.
Parents do not think we have not forgot about you. How else would we succeed if we didn't have a great back room team. So if you are willing to help us out in any way just come and chat to me.or contact me at rwhite500@hotmail.com or on 07804 258341

Training Dates 22.02.08
Training commences Weds 9th of April 2008 & Weds 16th of April 2008, 7.30 prompt starts at the Kennel. It then changes to every Tues & Thurs from the 22nd of April 2008, also 7.30 starts.
We look forward to seeing everyone there, whether you have played the game before or not!!
